Gottman Workshops for Couples
The Art and Science of Love Workshop for Couples is a psycho-educational workshop for all types of couples; married, cohabiting and dating couples are all welcome to attend.
Thousands of couples of every culture, religion, ethnicity, race, ability and sexual orientation have attended this workshop, come find out why.
In the past four decades of research, John Gottman has learned what really makes relationships work by studying and following over 3000 couples. Doctors John and Julie Gottman have designed this experiential couples’ workshop to teach you exactly what successful couples do to foster romance and harmony in their relationships.
There is no group work, sharing or public disclosure during this workshop. Couples work privately on exercises designed to address the real challenges in their relationship. Certified Gottman Therapist, Gloria Jean Bannasch, will be available to support couples one-on-one during the exercises and to answer any questions that you may have.
Here’s what couples are saying about the Art and Science of Love, Workshop for couples:
“I was engaged the whole time, and I loved Gloria’s sense of humor.”
“I can see using the tools, we were given this weekend, with family members, friendships, co-workers and my boss. It was a great weekend; it will change our relationship and each other.”

Who Should Attend?
The Art and Science of Love Workshop is designed to strengthen relationships through engaging presentations and experiential activities. If you have a strong relationship, this workshop will provide you with insights and tools to foster further closeness. If your relationship is distressed, this two-day, weekend retreat, will provide you with a greater understanding of your relationship and a road map for repair.
Who Should Not Attend?
If you and your partner are dealing with the trauma of a recently exposed affair, we recommend that you and your partner see a therapist for some repair work so that you will both be able to make the most of the information you will receive, and the skills you will learn, during this valuable couples’ workshop. If either of you has been court ordered to attend anger management classes or if the police department has been recently dispatched to your residence for a domestic violence disturbance, then you and your partner would be best served by seeing a therapist for couple’s work prior to attending this workshop. If after speaking with you and your partner, we agree that, this workshop will not be a good fit for you, we will offer some alternative suggestions that may better meet your needs; your money will be refunded, also.
